Immediate Payroll Assistant in HR – opening in Commerce, GA
Hours :Location : Commerce, GA
Pay : $20 / hour – may offer more for right candidate
Payroll Assistant is responsible for ensuring employs are paid accurately and timely with correct withholding and deductions. Duties of this position include general management of the payroll system, documentation / report, and employee communication.
Role and Responsibilities :
Payroll Management
- Calculate overtime, shift payments, and bonuses
- Account, distribute, and prepare taxes and deductions
- Maintain payroll records
- Prepare reports for management or to meet legislative obligations
- Ensure payments comply with collective bargaining agreements legislation, or other regulatory instruments
- Prepare and distribute pay information to employees
- Answer questions from employees and managers regarding payroll
- Other Tasks Assigned
- Associates degree in a related field
- 1-3 years of payroll and HR experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office - especially Excel
