Hire Elevation Resources is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is central to designing, developing, and maintaining critical components for a high-performing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform. The platform is a cloud-hosted application built with ASP.NET MVC architecture, leveraging Azure App Services and SQL Server Elastic Pools. The ideal candidate will thrive in balancing modern cloud-hosted infrastructure with legacy codebase management while contributing to the platform’s growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust RCM application and internal tools in collaboration with the software development team.
- Design and implement software solutions aligned with defined architecture and business requirements.
- Participate in Agile (SCRUM) development cycles, contributing to sprints and user stories.
- Research and develop new billing features and functionality to meet state-specific regulatory requirements.
- Create prototypes to demonstrate new features and interface ideas.
- Write clear, comprehensive software documentation and technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend supporting tools and technologies to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC (version 4.8) and modern cloud-hosted architecture.
- Experience with Azure App Services and SQL Server Elastic Pools.
- Strong understanding of the MVC design pattern and software architecture principles.
- Development Expertise:
- Proven experience designing and maintaining SaaS platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in managing legacy and modernized codebases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, ideally within SaaS platforms or healthcare technology.
- Prior experience in medical billing systems or regulatory environments is a plus but not required.
