Responsibilities : Perform respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy. Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and the use of respiratory equipment. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation complies with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Respond to respiratory emergencies, providing immediate and effective interventions. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care. Skills : Must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting Level 3 NICU / PICU High risk delivery experience - intubation of Neonate, if necessary Airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, Non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response experience, inhaled medication administration to include nitric oxide.
