Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule : Night (4x10 Hours) 19 : 00 7 : 00

Unit : Radiology / Cardiology

What You'll Do :

As an X-Ray Technician, you will operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images used for medical diagnosis. Your role will involve preparing patients for imaging procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images, assist in diagnosing conditions, and maintain accurate patient records.

Resp onsibilities :

• Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to proper radiation safety protocols and using lead aprons and other protective measures.
• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort.
• Review and evaluate developed X-rays for diagnostic quality and clarity.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and assist in accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and update patient files as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of X-ray equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Follow all hospital / clinic policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
