Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Location : Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire
About the Role :
The Warehouse Supervisor (2nd Shift) is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient distribution, and compliance with food safety and workplace standards. This role will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and support overall warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, material issuing, and distribution
Ensure accurate inventory tracking, proper documentation, and resolution of discrepancies
Maintain compliance with OSHA, food safety, GMP, and internal safety protocols
Train, develop, and lead a team, ensuring performance goals and operational standards are met
Monitor warehouse productivity, labor allocation, and cost efficiency
Partner with other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous process improvement
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing proper equipment use and workplace safety policies
Oversee shift handovers, ensuring smooth transitions between warehouse teams
Support staffing decisions, including interviews, performance management, and team development
Assume operational responsibility in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications :
5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Business preferred
Proficiency in inventory management systems, Microsoft Office, and warehouse databases
Ability to lead and develop a warehouse team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience in safety compliance, warehouse best practices, and process improvements
Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a cold environment and adapt to flexible schedules as needed
