Currently we are recruiting for LVN’s for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in the Soledad area. If you have at least one full year of licensed LVN experience then we want to talk to you!
Responsibilities : Responsibilities :
Patient Care :
Provide direct nursing care to individuals within the correctional facility.
Assess and address the healthcare needs of inmates, including monitoring vital signs and conducting routine health checks.
Medication Administration :
Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation of dosage and frequency.
Health Assessments :
Conduct health assessments to identify and address medical issues, collaborating with physicians as needed.
Emergency Response :
Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with the healthcare team.
Record Keeping :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
Collaboration :
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Patient Education :
Educate inmates on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies to promote overall well-being.
Qualifications :
Current and valid LVN license in the state of CA.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
