Pay Rate: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (OT may be required)
Onsite Position – Not Remote
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Child Support Payment Processor. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a stable schedule and long-term potential. Candidates must be available for the first 3 weeks of training with no prescheduled time off.
Typing Requirement:
Minimum typing speed: 45 WPM
Please include a WPM typing test result at the top of each resume
A typing test will also be administered during the interview process
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for performing manual adjustments in the Child Support system for the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund. You’ll handle account postings, payment research, check reissuance, and more, with training provided during your first 2–3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Post payments and adjust accounts in the child support system
Research and resolve payment issues
Set up debts and reissue/stop payments (checks and EFTs)
Run and review reports
Communicate with employers and payors for additional information
Draft and send correspondence
Qualifications:
High school diploma or some college preferred
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, A/R, or A/P a plus
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and work independently
Must be reliable and able to sit for extended periods
