Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Adjust machine settings for different material thicknesses and bending angles.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards through routine inspections and measurements.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubricating, to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is required.
- Strong understanding of brake press operations, including setup and adjustments.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
- Basic math and computer skills.
Pay: $DOE ( OVERTIME!)
Hours: Day hours.
