As a Torch Cutter, you will be responsible for using oxy-fuel, plasma, or other cutting torches to cut metal materials in a variety of shapes and sizes. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial torch cutting and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cutting torches (oxy-fuel, plasma, etc.) to cut metal materials.
- Measure and mark metal for cutting according to blueprints and work orders.
- Maintain cutting equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
- Work with various metals including steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Torch Cutter or in a similar role in metalworking or fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and equipment handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
Pay:$DOE
Hours: Day hours M-Fri OT available
