A high-growth supplements manufacturer in Utah County, Utah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to manage all facets of their gummy production and quality control processes.
- Compensation: $80-100K (DOE) benefits

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Overseeing all phases of production, from incoming materials to final product packaging.
- Developing and managing production plans to ensure on-time delivery of premium products.
- Maintaining appropriate inventory levels of finished goods to fulfill production needs.
- Improving production workflows to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
- Guaranteeing adherence to all relevant food safety regulations and quality protocols.
- Leading and mentoring production personnel, ensuring compliance with established operating procedures.
- Resolving production challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, such as R&D and Quality, on new product innovation and existing product enhancements.
- Maintaining a sanitary and well-organized production facility, adhering to the highest food safety standards.
- Analyzing production expenses and pursuing cost-saving measures without impacting product quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Proven track record of success in food production/supplement management, preferably within the confectionery sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) methodologies.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and food safety guidelines.
- A keen eye for detail and a dedication to ongoing quality improvement.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Capacity to perform effectively in a dynamic setting, address challenges successfully, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
- A relevant degree in food science, engineering, or related discipline is desirable, though equivalent experience will be highly valued.
