A fast growing manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This person will perform accounting duties of a complex nature requiring professional experience and knowledge in accounting principles and practices. Responsible for helping the Controller complete month end close tasks, including but not limited to, bank reconciliations, recording of journal entries, review of inventory and associated invoices. This position reports to the Controller.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Complete bank statement reconciliations for multiple accounts.
· Record journal entries as part of the month end process.
· Assist in other month-end close processes.
· Collect and analyze data about operational costs and present analysis to the team.
· Prepare audit reports and present their findings to management.
· Provide support for invoicing and capital expenditure.
· Account variance analysis
· Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis.
· Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by division.
· Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research, and perform analytical studies in connection with cost analyses and profitability.
· Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules and others.
· Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management.
· Work on special projects, as required.

Job Qualifications:
· Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
· Adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.
· Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
· Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
· Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
· Analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves.
· Project management skills
· Strong organizational and communicational skills
· Detail oriented
· Work independently under minimal supervision
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. (Preferred)
· 3 or more years of related experience in manufacturing is preferred.
· CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
Salary : $80,000
