OVERVIEW
A rapidly growing insurance company with configuration and insurance claims experience, and a strong reputation for customer satisfaction is seeking a Systems Administrator . Location : Northwest Chicago (also the possibility for central Chicago)
Job Type : Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Compensation : Starts at $95K (DOE) benefits opportunities for growth and development
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Systems Administrator will play a key role in configuring and maintaining critical insurance systems, analyzing data to identify process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Configure and maintain core systems to support essential business operations and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement system enhancements
Thoroughly test system configurations to guarantee they meet business needs and adhere to established standards
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Empower end-users through training and support on system functionalities, ensuring they can effectively utilize available tools and resources
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
2-5 years of experience in configuration and insurance systems, including claims systems, policy administration systems, or risk management information systems (Origami Risk preferred, but not required)
Track record of success with system configuration and process optimization
Outstanding ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with expertise in spreadsheet software and other relevant applications (strongly preferred)
Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
