Job Description:

One of our client's is seeking a Senior Database Developer to assist with the monitoring and administration of databases and servers. The role involves working closely with Enterprise Data Architects to design, develop, and maintain database objects, as well as providing database support for agency staff.

This is a hybrid role; candidates must be local to metro Atlanta, GA, and be available to report onsite as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and administer Oracle databases and servers.

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages.

• Work with software development teams to design, test, and document database solutions.

• Perform data analysis, logical and physical database design, and ETL development.

• Create business requirement documents, functional design, and testing documentation.

• Support database performance tuning and optimization.

• Provide database support and troubleshooting assistance.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in IT or related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.

• Strong expertise in Oracle Database Development using PL/SQL and SQL.

• Hands-on experience in ETL, Data Analysis, and Logical/Physical Database Design.

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and packages.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with business requirement documents and functional design.
