Key Responsibilities:
- Record monthly financial transactions and support the general ledger close process.
- Conduct reconciliations and analyze key accounts on the balance sheet.
- Oversee the accurate and timely submission of sales and use tax filings at the state and local levels.
- Maintain fixed asset records and support lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 standards.
- Serve as a point of contact during financial audits, preparing relevant reports and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve current accounting procedures and help implement more efficient workflows.
- Collaborate across departments to collect financial data, solve issues, and support company-wide initiatives.
- Stay current with accounting policies and industry best practices.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Willingness to work extra hours during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related area.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- At least three years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience with a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct is advantageous.
- Strong command of GAAP and relevant reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

Salary Range: $80k - $90k
