Senior Site Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
• Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, U.S. GAAP, and regulatory standards.
• Manage standard costing processes, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze and report on production variances, scrap, and inventory costs.
• Develop and implement cost-control initiatives to improve plant profitability.
• Lead SAP financial processes, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Train plant staff on SAP functionalities related to financial reporting and cost management.
• Collaborate with plant management to support strategic goals and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights for capital expenditures, process improvements, and production planning.
• Act as a liaison between corporate finance and plant operations.
• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment for data integrity and asset protection.
• Supervise and mentor the plant accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7 years of experience in manufacturing finance or accounting.
• At least 3 years in a Plant Controller or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in financial and cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and financial controls.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis.
• Experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives preferred.
• SAP expertise required.
