Summary :
Our client is a Tier 1 supplier and growing company who is looking to add a professional Melt Manager to their team. The Melt Manager will oversee the operations of a high volume, multi-furnace melting facility and ensure efficient management of melt operations.
The Melt Manager must have 3-5 years of experience in melt operations within a foundry environment.
Melt Manager Job Requirements :
- Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member
- High School Diploma plus apprenticeship or related associate degree, or equivalent
- Five years of experience preferred
- Supervise highly diversified work, operations and procedures requiring journey skills. Formulate and apply technical practices and new approaches
- Requires great attention to detail and accuracy to avoid errors that would cause delay or dissatisfaction
- Moderate physical exertion - Able to lift up to 40 pounds. Physical movement includes some repetitive motion, with twisting and bending
- Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE. (Safety goggles, hearing protections, steel-toe non-slip safety shoes, and gloves as needed when on the shop floor.)
