Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Foundry Engineer to join our team at Hire Road, Inc.
This role will involve designing, simulating, sampling, and maintaining foundry tooling (patterns, core boxes, and fixtures/gages) to meet customer requirements. You will also be responsible for managing the development of tooling from initial order through to final delivery.
- Design and simulate foundry tooling to meet customer specifications
- Manage the development of tooling from initial order through to final delivery
- Optimize tooling design and configuration for efficient production
- Work with customers to develop designs that meet foundry and customer needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years foundry experience or similar heavy industrial environment
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to manage a small team of hourly and salary employees in the technical field
