We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Planner to become part of our client's team in Duluth, GA. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of scheduling activities necessary to meet the company's supply chain, inventory, and production goals.

Summary of Essential Job Functions :

• Use Epicor ERP tool to manage production work releases
• Schedule / reschedule production
• Place major emphasis on meeting customer requirements
• Prioritization of production orders in alignment with sales demand
• Provide guidance to suppliers on purchased part supply and demand
• Identify shortages and work with suppliers on material need dates to meet ship dates
• Update and provide open order and scheduling reports
• Complete work orders in production to update inventory
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Facilitate communication between front office, sales workforce and supply chain teams.
• Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished goods.
• Other duties as assigned
