Structure Integration Technician
Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Avionics Integration Technician to join our dynamic team of experts in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Technician - Integration Engineering III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our spaceflight systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install avionic components and systems, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to design specifications
- Supervise qualification timelines and first article assemblies
- Conduct detailed installations, including intricate cable harness configurations
- Inspect, test, and verify avionics assemblies against technical models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Troubleshoot avionic system issues and perform necessary modifications, reworks, repairs, or maintenance
- Collaborate with vehicle and launch operations teams to perform in-field harness installations
- Ensure optimal function of avionics systems through inspections, cleanings, measurements, and testing activities
- Spearhead continuous improvement efforts in avionic installation processes
- Maintain a collaborative team environment and adapt to rapidly evolving project needs
- Adhere to strict Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and safety protocols
