The Sr. Analyst, Insights & Analytics is a critical role responsible for leveraging data to drive strategic business decisions and improve Client's business results. This position requires a strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with business and executive leadership to influence strategies that promote profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute strategic analytical approaches for critical projects, including advanced analytics and presentation of key findings to business leaders
Develop strategic recommendations based on data analytics for product lifecycle management
Create and implement innovative data-driven strategies to support business objectives
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, delivering insights aligned with strategic KPIs, hypotheses, and metrics
Mine multiple sources of data, including syndicated data (NPD, Technomic s, etc.), derive actionable insights, and translate complex results into simple conclusions that empower others to take action
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and influence category strategies through advanced analytics
Work closely with leadership to frame business opportunities and develop appropriate analytical strategies
Facilitate problem-solving sessions to create analytical solutions that contribute to Client's overall profitability
Build in-depth business, analytical, and systems knowledge to enhance analytical solutions and business recommendations
Design and develop tracking and performance management tools, such as Tableau dashboards and reports
Lead training and collaboration initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
Contribute to the development of a positive team culture, mentor associates, and improve skills and processes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
Proficient in data management and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., NPD, Technomic s, Nielsen IRI)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Effective team player with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, matrix organization
Strong understanding of business value drivers and their impact
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and quantitative skills
Proven problem-solving abilities and influence across the organization
Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse business scenarios and multiple priorities
Passionate about learning and discovering new insights from data
Strong communication skills and a dynamic, proactive attitude
- Bachelor s degree required (Business, Computer Science, or Analytics preferred); Master s degree is a plus
Preferred:
Project management experience is a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems preferred
Experience in distribution, retail, or wholesale industries is a plus
