Hire Up Staffing & Healthcare is looking for a skilled Medical Assistant that is interested in joining a recognized healthcare company in West Houston.
Pay $17 / hr.-$22 / hr. (vary depending on experience)
Hours : M-F 7a-4p (must be flexible)
Responsibilities
Prepare examination rooms for patients before and in between visits
Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts
Send out prescriptions and complete prior authorizations for prescriptions
Travel between clinics
Assist in dermatology surgical procedures (MOHS) Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Back Office Medical Assistant experience.
Previous dermatology medical assisting experience required.
Must have EMR / EHR experience; Strongly prefer someone with EMA EHR or eClinical Works.
Must have successfully completed a Medical Assisting program from an accredited university.
Experience with MOHS procedures.
