Hire Up Healthcare has partnered with an amazing urgent care group in Merced, CA who are looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to their team. Assignment is March 14th thru March 21st . 9 : 30am to 7 : 00pm This clinic provides urgent care with some primary. This is a direct hire opportunity that will require schedule flexibility. Salary range is $155,000-$180,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations both in clinic and in hospital settings.
Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating with physicians and specialists when necessary.
Develop and implement patient care plans, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, while monitoring patient response and adjusting treatments as needed.
Provide counseling and guidance to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in medical research projects.
Will be seeing up to 20 patients a day
Qualifications :
Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in CA.
Urgent care experience highly preferred
Will consider new NP graduates with 5 years of RN experience.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Dedication to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive health outcomes.
