Our client in Bethel, CT is looking for a fun, caring, and energetic Part-Time Preschool Floater who has a genuine passion to work with infants to 5-years-old. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Part-time; Monday-Friday; 12:00pm-6:00pm OR 1:00pm-6:00pm; year-round employment
Salary
- $16.00 - $18.50/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- In addition, there is a quarterly bonus incentive up to $500 based on attendance and performance

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as assisting with the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- REQUIRED Education: High School diploma or GED
- REQUIRED Experience: Must have experience working with children in either a professional setting or through babysitting/nannying
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be willing to get certified in CPR, First Aid, and medicine administration
