Our client is looking for an energetic, organized, and inspiring leader to join their premier preschool in Watkinsville, GA (Oconee) as Center Director. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who has extensive experience within a licensed preschool.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-time alternating opening and closing shifts with other administrative team members; Monday - Friday; year-round employment
Salary
$60,000-$65,000/year pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversee all aspects of the preschool's daily operations including staffing and curriculum integrity
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for children
- Operational Management: Manage classroom schedules and coordinate the management of supplies, equipment, and materials necessary for classroom activities and operations
- Budget and Financial Management: Monitor expenditures and ensure that resources are used efficiently and within budget
- Marketing and Enrollment: Lead marketing efforts and community outreach to promote the preschool and attract new students; assist with enrollment processes, including tours, application reviews, and orientation for new families; ensure accurate and up-to-date enrollment records; maintain communication with prospective families
- Parent Communication: Foster positive relationships with parents and families, maintaining open and transparent communication channels
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education-related field; Master’s degree preferred
- REQUIRED Leadership Experience: At least 1 year of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) leadership experience in a licensed facility with at least 100 enrolled students
- REQUIRED Management Experience: Experience managing at least 20 employees in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- REQUIRED Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of Lead Early ChildhoodEducation (birth to 5-years-old) teaching experience
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler classrooms, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
