About The Role
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards. Your expertise will help drive operational efficiency and ensure that every aircraft meets return-to-service deadlines seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee aircraft maintenance operations and support technicians in executing repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable FARs and company procedures.
- Train and guide maintenance personnel while upholding safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate daily maintenance tasks, optimizing manpower and resources.
- Evaluate aircraft status and ensure timely return-to-service readiness.
- Manage procurement of parts, tooling, and external services to maintain project timelines.
- Oversee aircraft cleaning and final inspections before revenue service.
- Maintain clear communication with maintenance control and management on service schedules.
- Review work packages and ensure accurate documentation.
- Follow manufacturer maintenance guidelines for inspections and repairs.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Knowledge of FARs and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Corridor software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Ability to lift and transport items of 70 pounds or more regularly
- Ownership of essential tools
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Our client believes in competitive, experience-based compensation. The salary for this role ranges from $42.00/hour to $57.00/hour, with additional discretionary performance incentives
