Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for a specialty Clerk for a clients in Visalia, CA area. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay is $17 - $20 DOE.
Position Summary :
Responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the pharmacy’s Enteral department.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for monthly follow up calls for all enteral patients including Spanish.
- Assists enteral intake in obtaining pertinent medical history including height, weight, allergies, diabetic status and / or medication profile.
- Provides clerical support for the enteral staff including answering phones and scanning / assigning any necessary documents if necessary.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
- Tracks orders daily and inform Enteral Coordinator and Specialty Team Lead if with any issues.
- Provides backup for the enteral coordinator by processing any new enteral orders, immediate supply needs and / or equipment exchanges if the Enteral Coordinator is out of the office.
- Adjudicate electronic claims for Enteral orders
- Assist with BFMC specialty patient calls, delivery set up and processing of orders.
- Performs other related tasks as determined by the pharmacy coordinator.
- Performs other related tasks as determined by the enteral coordinator.
- Performs other related tasks as determined by the pharmacy manager.
Qualifications :
- High school graduate.
- Minimum of six months related experience.
- Bilingual - Preferred
- Knowledge of pharmacy procedures
