What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRTF Therapist position at Hire Velocity?
Overview
Therapist -PRTF is responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients.
This position is responsible for interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family throughout treatment, developing appropriate treatment objectives and summaries, and assessing patients’ response to treatment interventions. Therapist-PRTF work closely with other clinical and program staff in treatment planning and delivery of clinical services, attending all scheduled clinical staff meetings and treatment planning meetings. This position acts as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. This position is also a liaison with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and may include evenings as appropriate.

Qualifications
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Minimum of Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
None required. New grads welcomed.
License / Certification:
LCMHC/LCMHCA, LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA Or in process of obtaining licensure. Compliance with state board requirements for supervised practice while pursuing independent licensure.
