In this role, you’ll handle sales outreach, driving new business, sharing our story with the right audiences, and helping us build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Business Development, Sales & Prospecting
- Own the top-of-funnel: prospect, connect, and qualify B2B leads through cold and warm outreach.
- Drive consistent, outbound efforts using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and CRM workflows.
- Manage inbound and outbound leads in HubSpot—from first touch to scheduled discovery call.
- Track and nurture prospects through the pipeline, ensuring a smooth handoff to the delivery team.
- Keep deals moving—follow up, follow through, and follow systems.
- Tell the Hire Ventures story in a way that resonates with founders, CEOs, and business leaders.
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns that generate interest and drive conversion.
- Engage with our audience on LinkedIn and other platforms to boost awareness and credibility.
- Support thought leadership efforts and identify opportunities to elevate the brand.
- Maintain and grow our referral partner program—track activity, follow up, and engage consistently.
- Support co-marketing initiatives and collaborative opportunities with strategic partners.
What tools you will use:
- HubSpot (CRM, pipeline management, marketing)
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Google Workspace, Slack and other collaboration platforms
What skills and experience you need to have:
- 3 years in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably in a professional services or consulting environment).
- Experience using HubSpot to manage pipelines and sales activity (bonus if you love automating workflows).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—concise, clear, and engaging.
- Proactive, organized, and self-motivated—you’re comfortable owning a process and making it better.
- Comfortable with tech tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Workspace, Slack).
- Collaborative mindset—easy to work with, positive, and invested in team success.
- A degree in Business, HR, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
