The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our portfolio in a designated territory. This is a highly compensated position with uncapped commission potential—ideal for a results-driven individual. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing relationships, and closing deals with key decision-makers, all while leveraging a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, 401(k), company vehicle, cell phone, and expense account.
What You’ll Do
- Drive New Business: Prospect and schedule appointments with potential clients, focusing on outbound activities such as cold calling, networking, and customer outreach.
- Develop Relationships: Build long-term relationships with clients, creating a referral network through consistent "farming" activities.
- Qualify & Close Deals: Identify business needs, qualify opportunities, and negotiate contracts to close profitable deals.
- Solution Selling: Effectively present :hire’s solutions to decision-makers at all levels, ensuring the value proposition is clearly understood.
- Forecast & Report: Manage your sales pipeline, forecast opportunities accurately, and maintain up-to-date CRM reports for monthly and quarterly reviews.
- Generate Revenue: Focus on driving consistent revenue through an organized and supported sales plan.
What You Need to Succeed
- 3 Years of B2B Sales Experience: A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a business development or sales environment.
- Desire for Six-Figure Earnings: You’re driven by results and have the ambition to earn a substantial income through uncapped commissions.
- Relationship Building Skills: Able to connect with clients and decision-makers, earning their trust and becoming a valuable business resource.
- Sales Proficiency: Excellent closing skills, deal qualification expertise, and a strong understanding of how to add value to clients.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple opportunities and sales activities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using MS Office Suite and CRM tools for reporting and pipeline management.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for engaging with both clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Location: In-office position with travel to in-person client meetings within the designated territory; must reside within 30 miles of the territory.
