This position involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all phases of the project while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with project specifications and Florida building codes.
- Track project milestones and assist in updating stakeholders on progress.
- Collaborate with the permitting team to ensure compliance with Delray Beach regulations.
- Support safety management on-site and enforce compliance with safety standards.
- Organize and maintain project records and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial construction or similar projects.
- Familiarity with Florida permitting processes and building regulations.
- Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of structural and MEP systems in office building construction.
