Our client is a nationally recognized Top 3 General Contractor with a dominant presence throughout Coastal Florida, known for delivering skyline-defining high-rise projects. With a legacy of excellence in luxury residential towers, mixed-use urban developments, and large-scale commercial builds, they offer an exceptional opportunity for a senior construction leader looking to take the next step in their career.
We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager with extensive experience managing high-rise developments (15 stories) from preconstruction through delivery. This is a high-visibility role with one of the most respected names in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-rise projects ranging from $150M to $500M, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule expectations are met
- Manage on-site teams including Superintendents, Engineers, and Assistant PMs
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and trade partners
- Oversee procurement, contracts, change orders, and financial forecasting
- Maintain and manage detailed project schedules (P6 or MS Project)
- Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations
- Conduct weekly meetings and progress reports with stakeholders
- Coach and mentor junior staff to develop internal talent
Qualifications
- 15 years of construction experience, with 10 years managing high-rise (15 stories) projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong track record of delivering complex vertical builds in urban/coastal environments
- Proficient in Procore, CMiC, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel regionally and manage on-site operations
Preferred Attributes
- LEED certification or sustainability project experience
- Familiarity with Florida’s permitting and building code environment
- Experience in hurricane-resistant or coastal construction
- Florida General Contractor license is a plus
