What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Engineer position at HIREBLAZER?
We are looking for a Network Engineer for our state client in Huntsville, Tx. This is Hybrid position.
Minimum (Required):
5 Yrs -Experience with complex and multiplatform telecommunications networks
5 Yrs -Demonstrated understanding of network technologies and protocols
5 Yrs -Networking experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls
5 Yrs -Experience implementing and maintaining network technologies in a mixed vendor environment
5 Yrs -Knowledge pertaining to Wide Area Connected Remote Sites (T1/Ethernet/AVPN/Dedicated Ethernet/Dedicated Internet)
5 Yrs -Knowledge with end-user network security and access technologies (Fire Sight/Sourcefire/Advanced Malware Protection)
5 Yrs - Knowledge with network protocols OSPF/BGP/IP/DHCP/ARP and troubleshooting with packet sniffers
5 Yrs -Knowledge with multi-platform network integrated systems (Microsoft Active Directory/Security Groups)
5 Yrs -Knowledge pertaining to all aspects of Local Area Network connections to include: VLAN/Port Aggregation/802.1x/ (Layer 1 Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6e cabling and connectivity)
5 Yrs -Knowledge pertaining to authentication (AAA) protocols: TACACS /RADIUS/SAML
5 Yrs -Knowledge with Data Encryption/Access-Lists/Route-Maps and Get VPN
