Your schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Your mission & responsibilities as Medical Assistant:
- Your primary mission will be assisting Dr. Berry in the procedure room.
- You must know how to operate in a sterile environment.
- You will also assist with patient care (room prep for procedures and tending to patients after procedures).
- You need to be a great multi-tasker! You will assist in taking patients back to the room, doing the vital signs and workups for NP's and Dr. Berry, etc.
- C.M.A. or C.C.M.A. or R.M.A. You must provide a certificate of qualifications.
- Ideally 2 years of experience.
- Dependability is a MUST – you must be punctual.
- Attitude: We are a smaller office...that means there is no such thing as "that's not my job."
- You will need to learn basic front desk skills. This consists of, but is not limited to, answering phones and checking patients in on the EMR system.
- You must be a people person who can easily speak to patients in a kind manner and get along well with co-workers.
- Assisting NP with charting if needed...so you must be able to spell correctly.
- Able to give the patient great customer service.
- Be able to work as a team.
