Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality initiatives and ensure excellence in production and process standards. This role involves driving innovation, mentoring team members, and collaborating across departments to enhance quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures tailored to organizational needs.
- Design and execute training programs and internal audits to uphold quality standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality systems and processes.
- Provide innovative solutions to improve quality performance and business outcomes.
- Mentor and guide quality engineers through structured training programs.
- Evaluate emerging quality technologies and recommend strategies for adoption.
- Interpret technical drawings to ensure products meet quality specifications and suggest improvements to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed records for new and improved processes or products.
- Coordinate quality engineering projects across multiple product categories or sites.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to address process improvements and resolve quality issues.
- Partner with sales teams to support product development and address customer concerns.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee various phases of quality engineering projects.
- Deliver training on problem-solving techniques, statistical process control, and quality systems.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- Professional certifications in quality engineering or management are advantageous.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency with aerospace or similar industry quality standards.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software and tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing processes, and quality techniques.
- Experience with quality management systems and project management tools.
- Proven ability to develop and monitor process controls and key performance indicators.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Spanish language skills
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $120,000 per year
