Quality Inspector (Relocation Allowance to Harris County, TX)

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN HARRIS COUNTY, TX. **RELOCATION BONUS UP TO $10K!!**

Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry quality standards in the manufacturing of aerospace fasteners . This role involves visual and dimensional inspections, documentation, and collaboration with production teams to maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished fasteners for defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications .
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation , including non-conformance reports (NCRs) .
• Identify and report non-conforming materials and processes .
• Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and assist in corrective actions .
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations .

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent ; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in quality control inspection , preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry .
• Familiarity with industry fastener specifications and standards .
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects .
• Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100 ).
• Familiarity with fastener design and material specifications .
• Understanding of material testing methods .
• Experience with CMM or other advanced inspection equipment .
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills .
