Required:

• Prior experience in a Trade Support, Syndicate Operations, or an Operations role is beneficial.
• Technical understanding of Fixed Income products and operational support functions.
• Ability to manage risk and escalate timely.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence to drive discussions with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions, including Fixed Income, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Operations’ management.
• Deliver process improvements and control framework uplift for a space that is manual.
• Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong team player while demonstrating an ability to effectively work independently.
• Must be proficient in MS Office products, including Excel and Power Point.
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• The Syndicate Operations team handles operational support for SPG and Municipals transactions.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Deal Management: Will be expected to run point on sizable and complex transactions for the team and manage multiple aspects of the new issuance process from deal structuring through settlement.
• Risk Management: The role involves exposure and interaction with the business on important transactions for the Firm.
• Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of risks associated with a transaction and the ability to have strong judgement around timely escalation to ensure appropriate resolution.
• Client Focus: The team works closely with the Fixed Income Division and developing a strong partnership with business partners is essential to the role.
• There is direct interaction and coordination, often at senior levels, with the Syndicate Desk, BCU, and Coverage teams. T
• Requires coordination with external vendors, including DTCC, Transfer/Paying Agents, Financial Advisors and external counsel.
• Process Improvements: Needs to demonstrate the ability to identify process improvements and help implement solutions to address them.
