Informatica Cloud Data Marketplace Administrator

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Informatica Cloud Data Marketplace platform.
• Ensures the availability, performance, and security of the data marketplace, enabling seamless data sharing and collaboration within the organization.
• Works closely with data stewards, data engineers, and business users to support data governance and data management initiatives.
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Administration:

• Perform day-to-day administration of the Informatica Cloud Data Marketplace, including user management, access control, and configuration settings.
• Monitor the health and performance of the platform, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to keep the platform up-to-date.
  
  
  

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Manage user permissions and roles to ensure appropriate access controls.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  
  
  

Data Governance:

• Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data quality, metadata management, and data cataloging within the data marketplace.
• Collaborate with data stewards and data owners to define and enforce data governance policies and standards.
• Facilitate data lineage and data classification efforts to enhance data transparency and traceability.
  
  
  

User Support and Training:

• Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing issues and resolving incidents related to the data marketplace.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize the platform.
• Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and best practices documentation.
  
  
  

Collaboration:

• Work closely with data engineers, data architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements and support data integration efforts.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the data marketplace with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance data sharing and collaboration within the organization.
  
  
  

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data management, data governance, and cloud technologies.
• Identify opportunities for improving the data marketplace platform and implement necessary enhancements.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities related to Informatica Cloud and data management.
  
  
  

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Informatica Cloud Data Marketplace and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data integration concepts.
• Experience with integrating other external applications like Sailpoint, etc
• Experience with automating secure access to AWS services like (Redshift, Athena, S3), Microsoft O365, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, PowerBI
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or data administration roles.
• Experience in administering and managing Informatica Cloud Data Marketplace solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with integrating other external applications like Sailpoint, etc
• Experience with automating secure access to AWS services like (Redshift, Athena, S3), Microsoft O365, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, PowerBI

• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
