Required:
- 1-2 years' financial analysis experience.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot Excel Macros.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Proven proficiency in problem resolution and demonstrated initiative.
- Excellent organizational / time management skills to succeed in a high-pressure / fast paced environment.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Strong research / analytical, and math skills.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Creative thinker to reengineer some of the current manual workflow processes including Macro development.
- Primary responsibilities include conducting oversight of key functions performed by Operations team, monitoring and reporting of daily control reports, consolidating and providing metric reporting, performing analysis on report exceptions and supporting Internal/External audit requests.
- Operations Oversight has the key responsibility of ensuring completeness and accuracy of controls and procedures are followed across the departments for products that impact client and firm relationships and associated risks including regulatory, financial and reputational.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, analyze and distribute daily reports.
- Coordinate reports and correspondence for exception items that require remediation and/or escalation.
- Work closely with the product lines to ensure their operational and procedural requirements are followed.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly key performance metrics.
- Oversee control functions performed by offshore teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that escalation procedures are followed.
- Provide necessary information for auditors during internal and external exams.
- Identify existing and potential risk, and work with other areas to minimize or eliminate the risk.
