Radiology Technician

Required:

• Minimum 3 years in clinical scanning, specifically with ultrasound systems.
• Registered as a Clinical Sonographer with ARDMS accreditation (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in Clinical Development is highly preferred.
• BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ARDMS certified (or equivalent).
• Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments.
• Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of computer skills.
  
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Ultrasound experience, particularly in human scanning.
• ARDMS certification.

• Good work ethics.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player.

Responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to ARDMS guidelines for procedures and scanning protocols.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and implementing knowledge to effectively provide constructive feedback on input for development.
• Ensuring patient safety, monitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and/or emotional change.
• Abide by all HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
