Certifications :
- Required Education : Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program. Maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE.
- Required Certifications & Licensure : ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO) is required.
Mandatory Experience :
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians and technologists. Current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardia and / or vascular sonography. Working knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures.
