Recruiting Manager

Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Recruiting Manager to join a dynamic company situated in the Metro Detroit area. • Key Responsibilities:**
• Recruitment Strategy: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for hourly, non-exempt positions across various roles and functions within the region or designated facility. Your strategic approach will ensure that staffing needs are met efficiently.
  
  

Candidate Sourcing and Evaluation: Utilize diverse sourcing methods to locate potential candidates. Rigorously evaluate their qualifications against job specifications through comprehensive assessment procedures to identify the best fits for the organization.

• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers to develop clear and detailed recruitment profiles that accurately reflect the needs and culture of the company.
  
  

Candidate Qualification: Employ advanced behavioral interview techniques and a variety of skills assessments to qualify candidates. Conduct thorough background checks to ensure the integrity and suitability of each candidate.

• Hiring Plans and Presentation: Create and implement an aggressive hiring strategy that instills confidence and credibility with hiring managers. Prepare and present detailed candidate synopses and recommendations to assist managers in making informed hiring decisions.
  
  

Interview Coordination: Oversee the coordination of on-site interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Analyze reference check findings and discuss insights with hiring teams.

• Offer Finalization and Onboarding: Manage the final offer process, including negotiation, to onboard selected candidates comprehensively. Ensure that new hires are seamlessly integrated into the company.
  
  

Tracking and Compliance: Maintain an efficient applicant tracking system to monitor recruitment activities and ensure EEO compliance. Regularly update and utilize relevant software, including Workday, to streamline the hiring process.

• Qualifications and Requirements:**
• Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated recruiting experience with a track record of measurable results showcasing quality hires. Experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with a creative problem-solving ability. You should possess a sense of urgency and resourcefulness, thriving in a fast-paced environment that relies heavily on teamwork and collaboration.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Workday applicant tracking system will be advantageous.
