Job Summary:
A reputable local contracting company is looking for a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in the oil & gas or construction industries and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle tools and equipment safely. Pay is based on experience, and relevant certifications are a plus. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug screenings and background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks, including site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance.
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment for tasks such as mowing and weed trimming.
- Lift and carry materials up to 75 lbs. as needed.
- Work 10-hour shifts in varying weather conditions.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in oil & gas, construction, or similar industries preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and Reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
