Sandblaster

Job Summary:
A leading company in the oil & gas industry is seeking a skilled Sandblaster & Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces, sandblasting, and applying industrial coatings to equipment and structures. The ideal candidate has prior experience in sandblasting and spray painting, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Work will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions, and candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and applying appropriate blasting techniques.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to remove rust, scale, and old coatings from surfaces.
• Apply industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray systems.
• Mix and match paint/coating products according to specifications.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Maintain and clean all sandblasting and spray painting equipment.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including PPE usage and ventilation requirements.
• Work in various outdoor conditions and confined spaces when required.
• Work 40 - 50 hours a week 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sandblasting, industrial painting, or a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts and overtime when required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
