Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated, outgoing, and professional Talent and Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in identifying, screening, and placing qualified candidates in open positions, while also building lasting relationships with local businesses and representing our company at events throughout the region. This position is perfect for someone who is entrepreneurial, well-spoken, and passionate about making professional connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting Duties:
- Source, screen, and interview potential job candidates for a wide range of roles including general labor, skilled trades, administrative, and more
- Write and post engaging job ads to attract applicants
- Match candidates with job opportunities based on skills, qualifications, and client needs
- Maintain and update applicant tracking and database systems
- Conduct onboarding and assist candidates through the hiring process
Sales & Community Engagement Duties:
- Identify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound interest
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, decision-makers, and industry partners
- Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, community gatherings, and local meetings
- Present services professionally and confidently to prospective clients
- Work closely with current clients to understand their workforce needs and deliver qualified candidates
