About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Law Staff Attorney to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence and other vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Injunctions for Protection, Dissolutions of Marriage, and Paternity Orders for survivors of domestic violence.
- Deliver high-quality legal representation to clients and their families.
- Prepare and deliver client training and community education.
- Actively participate in the local Bar and engage in legal and community projects.
Requirements
- Have 1–3 years of legal practice experience (preferred but not required).
- Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to the needs of low-income individuals, victims of crime, veterans, or other marginalized communities.
- Have a desire to litigate cases, with opportunities provided to gain litigation experience.
- Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Benefits
The role offers a competitive starting salary of $74,000, commensurate with experience, along with benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance for the employee, retirement plan, and generous leave allotments of vacation days, sick days, and paid holidays annually.
