Position Summary The primary objective of this role is to deliver routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, aligned with their assessments and care plans, and as instructed by supervisors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business publications, professional journals, technical documents, and government regulations.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective verbal communication skills to present information and address questions from managers and employees.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Problem-solving skills to handle diverse situations with minimal standardization.
- Capability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
- Physical ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent use of a computer and office equipment, including copier, scanner, fax, telephone, and calculator, with extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking, reading, or hearing.
- Preparedness to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergencies.
- Work environment noise levels typically range from low to moderate.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a 10th-grade education.
- Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license as per state regulations.
