Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Basic Patient Care :
- Monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
- Changing bandages and providing wound care.
- Inserting catheters.
- Medication Administration:
- Administering prescribed medications (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous).
- Monitoring patients for medication reactions.
- Patient Monitoring and Reporting
- Observing and documenting patient conditions and behaviors.
- Reporting changes in patient status to RNs or physicians.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Communication and Support:
- Communicating with patients and their families.
- Providing emotional support and comfort.
- Educating patients and families about care plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong clinical and communication skills • A team player with a compassionate approach to care.
Education & Experience
- Current LPN license.
