Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of embedded systems in new and legacy medical devices. Reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager, you'll collaborate with internal teams and customers to drive innovation and ensure product safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of next-generation electronics and embedded systems.
- Design, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and custom printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Develop and validate firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers (MCUs).
- Ensure compliance with medical device standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304, etc.).
- Create and manage design control documents (failure mode and effects analyses (FMEAs), bill of materials (BOMs), test protocols).
- Participate in design reviews and support medical compliance standards testing.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering; 5 years of experience.
- Experience with design control documentation, including product requirements, specifications, and related materials.
- Knowledge of medical device standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in embedded systems design, PCB layout, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Expertise in C/C and firmware development.
- Experience with formal design controls and medical device standards.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
