POSITION SUMMARY:
Admissions Representative will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and helping them understand the benefits and opportunities offered by our prestigious University. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of our programs, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Entering & controlling the leads into the Verity Student Information System
· · Heavy outbound prospecting to company and self-generated inquiries.
· Conduct telephone and in-person interviews with prospective students.
· Evaluate the prospective student’s needs, interests, and qualifications to help the prospective student make an informed decision to attend or not attend the college
· Present information regarding the school’s programs and tuition in a factual and ethical manner
· Complete enrollment paperwork and assist students with orientation
· Remain in contact with students throughout their program in order to assist them in becoming successful graduates
· Uphold all college policies, procedures, and ethical standards with integrity
· Attend initial and weekly training meeting to develop admissions skills, retention techniques, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements
· Act as a liaison with school departments to facilitate the best student experience
· Participation in college-sponsored events and activities.
· Perform other work-related duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1 year of sales or related experience with a proven track record of success (i.e. Sales, Telemarketing, Customer Service, Hospitality etc.)
· Excellent communication skills
· Relates well with others, ability to build great rapports
· Requires persistence combined with a positive attitude and approach to work and others
· Self-motivating work style
· Ability to work well in a fast paced, results-driven environment
· Dynamic, outgoing and positive with a strong focus on exceptional customer service
· Must be proficient in basic computer skills
