Key Responsibilities:
Contract Documents:
- Compile a comprehensive set of plans and specifications for project execution.
- Display strong knowledge of contract documents and interpret them effectively.
Productivity:
- Develop optimal work methods and prepare sketches and drawings.
- Understand project scope to allocate appropriate time for estimation and design completion.
Training & Mentorship:
- Train and develop designers to work independently on designs and applications.
- Provide guidance on design and constructability to project teams.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Build relationships with supervisors, project teams, owners, architects, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Support administrative staff in record-keeping, proposals, and billing processes.
Engineering & Design:
- Ensure compliance with codes, industry standards, and company policies.
- Design efficient and cost-effective mechanical and plumbing systems.
Engineering & Design:

- Perform heat load calculations using the latest software and maintain software updates.
Estimating & Value Engineering:

- Offer insights and support to improve project profitability.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Experience with design-build and design-assist projects.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software for calculations and design.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Perform heat load calculations using the latest software and maintain software updates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
